Patrick Cannon (he/him) is a Pittsburgh-based multidisciplinary artist. His film projects, submit it to festivals (director/writer) and Mulligan (creator/writer), have been Official Selections in four Academy Award Qualifying Film Festivals. Patrick’s play, “The Tragedy of Yorick: A Comedy,” won second place in the 2019 Writer’s Digest Script competition, was a Screencraft Quarterfinalist, was named a second-rounder at Austin Film Festival, and is currently ranked in the Top 5 comedy stage plays on Coverfly’s The Red List. He has worked with companies throughout the country including Pittsburgh Public Theater, City Theatre, Pittsburgh CLO, Pittsburgh Playhouse, Front Porch Theatricals, Boomerang Theater Company, No Name Players, Bricolage, Drury Lane Theatre, Steppenwolf Theatre Garage Rep, Strange Tree Group, and Cape May Stage. Patrick was most recently on stage in Little Shop of Horrors (the Dentist) and Sweat (Jason) at Pittsburgh Public Theater. BA in Theater from Columbia College Chicago, MFA in Screenwriting/Playwriting from Point Park University.
